The Blood-feathered Dragon (Book Two)

Seke is a child of the planet Jesomine, brought up by desert creatures and given a home by Marmat Tchalé, the celestial griot whose disciple he has become. However the time has come for Seke to experience some of life's doubts and sufferings.

Seke becomes passionately involved with Princess Löte on Frater 2, a water planet where two worlds are in conflict, that of the ancient civilisation of the Queens of the Ark and of the red dragons of Ankl, a bloody armada assembled and led by fanatical preachers. But, just as he is about to leave Marmat so that he can devote himself entirely to his new love, the Chaldria forces him to set off again, tearing him away from the arms of Löte and condemning him to a life of regrets and lost desires.

He is then sent to Ozane, a world of drought governed by creatoms. Helped by the Nihils and a female Minor, he escapes from the Priors and finds Marmat at the bottom of the great ravines of the central plain.

Eventually reunited, master and disciple are transported by the Chaldria alignment to Venter, the planet of ancestral origins, where Seke is officially enthroned in the Circle and receives his Kharba.

The time has come for the ultimate test, meeting the blood-feathered dragon...
