Ambitious, masterly, thrilling, such are the epithets wich best qualify Jean-Marc Ligny's latest novel. Ambitious because of the subject and its development, masterly for different storylines that gradually unfold and for the variety and quality of his characters; thrilling through the quality of his narrative.
Despite its length (about 750 pages) the novel is never dull and gets the reader hooked right from the start by the use of clever cutting into intense, short chapters.
