Praise for ORIGINES
One feels throughout that the author manages her plot-line well, thus providing us with many twists and turns to keep us on our toes and retain our interest right to the end. So the conclusion is gradually defined, and with it comes the answers to the many questions that had arisen in my mind. I really must admit that the author answers them efficiently but sometimes in an unexpected way. I was a little afraid that the cycle would take the easy way out with a classic combat between  Ioun-Ké-Da and the Dark God, but Laurence Suhner has succeeded in introducing a surprise element by widening the point of view and providing something more 'complete' and more thought out. Because, yes, we find ourselves wondering about a lot of things, whether it be about ourselves, our individuality, and all the consequences that can arise like, for instance,  how we communicate or about our evolutionary progress.

The scientific aspect is always present, but never becomes Hard Science, Suhner clearly taking the time to explain the concepts she uses. The author also continues to provide a touch of Hindu culture which, I think, is a plus and proves to be really interesting, making us want to find out more about certain of its aspects. She also makes us think about the way we view and treat Nature.

The author is as usual efficient, thorough and profound, enabling the reader to get right into her narrative and her thrilling world with ease. The conclusion cleverly answers the many questions raised. To sum up, I've really enjoyed reading this series and I will certainly read more from Laurence Suhner in the future.
