The Song of the Cosmos

First: Yeff, a young Oceanian and a student on the planet Diasphine with a talent for the “Game”, a mental encounter between “Thinkers” and played at interstellar tournaments.
Second: a professional “muse”, Clyne, a counsellor to a Thinker whose career has just come to an abrupt halt.
Third: a strange, unpredictable yet friendly animal, the Maedre, who is at the heels of Yeff and follows him through thick and thin.
Three characters in an adventure spanning three decades, in both a space opera and a thriller; a voyage through many different cultures and a bestiary where the author shows just how funny he can be.

Roland C. Wagner, the author of forty novels and a hundred short stories, obtained the Grand Prix de l'Imaginaire 1999 for his Future Mysteries of Paris and the Eiffel Tower Prize for Science Fiction for his short story A Fragment of the Book of the Sea.
