The narrative

"It is imperative to give birth to islands."  (Alexandre Vialatte)

You have in your hands the fruit of two years research. For - and this is the most appalling thing - now that computer networks are working again after a two-year total blackout, we must accept the facts: Nomedia has gone.

The few exploratory missions of the international programme "Nomedia revisited" have come to the conclusion that the mythic continent has again been mislaid. Some researchers even go so far as to say that this is not the first loss and, since the dawn of time, the Nomedian continental mass has never ceased to appear and disappear in the centre of the Pacific. Thus we have a mystery more profound than any that has fascinated the human race since it discovered how to write.

A fascinating mosaic novel which, "virtually" immerses us in the past, the near future and the era of the first sea adventurers in the 17th century. And we get involved in this quest for Nomedia, we believe in it, we wonder about it and we would like to be there.
