Laurent Genefort
Born in 1968, Laurent Genefort is today one of the most remarkable authors of French space opera. Spiritual son of space opera writers like Stefan Wul, he has published over thirty novels, of these twenty by Presses de la Cité. A creator of worlds and an ethnologist-discoverer of extraterrestrial civilisations, he received the Grand Prix de l'Imaginaire in 1995 for Arago and finally attended his viva on books about the universe. Over the past three years he has been devoting himself to the construction of the world of Omale (two volumes in Millénaire published by J'ai lu) and to a fantasy series for young people with Degliame books.
